Amendments to the Employment Relationships Act (ZDR-1)

On 16 November 2023, the Act on Amendments and Additions to the Employment Relationships Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 114/2023, hereinafter referred to as: ZDR-1D) entered into force, which transposes into the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/1152 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on transparent and predictable working conditions in the European Union (Official Journal of the European Union no. 186 of 11 July 2019, p. 105) and Directive 2019/1158/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on work-life balance for parents and carers and repealing Council Directive 2010/18/EU (Official Journal of the European Union no. 188 of 12 July 2019, p. 79).
